Wanting What's Fair

We have likely heard children protest saying, “That’s not fair!” Within each of us there is an innate sense of justice and fairness. Unfortunately, due to our own lack of objectivity, our judgements are often skewed. Each of us view the world through our own set of rose colored glasses. Granted, some may be more heavily tinted than others, but none of us possess the objectivity we perceive. I think we can learn about this from David’s psalm of lament, Psalm 13.
