What is Impact Youth Ministry?

Youth ministry exists because of the recognition that youth matter to God, and what they know and believe matters. We all believe in something but the question is why? At CVBF, we don't take these things for granted, we want to ask the questions and prepare for the future.

A TIME OF

Fellowship

Students from 6th grade through 12th gather together weekly to spend time together building relationships united in Christ through games and conversation.

A TIME OF

Study

We read the Bible together, and discuss its context and application to our lives.

A TIME OF

Prayer

Prayer is an important and impactful aspect of Christian life. We want to be there for each other and prayer is one way we are able to do so.

We Believe...

It is our desire that the youth of our church, and our community, will grow up in the knowledge of the cross. The message of the cross is the power of God and with faith we are trained to face any obstacle or decision in life. Paul offers insight to Timothy on the importance and benefits of being equipped in such a way:

"Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe."

1 Timothy 4:12 (NASB)

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work."

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV)

Challenge Conference

Challenge is a national conference put on by the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) that we attend every couple years, Lord willing! We gather with thousands of other students from across the country to worship and learn about God while growing closer to each other as a group. We also have opportunities to serve the host city's community and learn about what God is doing around the world through various missions and churches. It's a weeklong event and has been impactful to students each time we have gone!

Challenge 2018

Challenge 2018 was all about Bold Moves, how Jesus lived and acted boldly and that as His disciples we are called to be courageous and act boldly as well. Eight students went to Kansas City, MO and came back excited to be bold here in Cache Valley.
