Prayer Ministry
The prayer ministry at Cache Valley Bible Fellowship is the spiritual boiler room of the church. It is an expression of our dependency upon God and of our faith in His acceptance of us in Christ. Prayer is powerful, not because our prayers are powerful, but because our God, the living God, is both almighty and gracious to respond to the prayers of His children which are offered to Him by the Spirit in the name of His Son Jesus Christ.

We believe God's people are to be a praying people, and so we seek to be a praying church, praying for our community, our leaders, our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, for the advance of the gospel in the world. We ought to do all things in humble dependency upon God and with thanksgiving.
Prayer Meeting: Thursdays from 7:00 - 8:15pm
In addition to cultivating a daily life of prayer, we host a prayer meeting every Thursday night at the church from 7:00 - 8:15pm. There is no pressure to come every week, and there is no pressure to pray out loud if you'd prefer to pray silently. Each week we begin with a short reflection from Scripture on prayer, and then spend the remaining hour in prayer.

The prayer meeting has five goals:
-
to grow in our prayer lives together.
-
to pray for the prayer requests which get submitted to the church throughout the week, and for our own personal cares and needs.
-
to pray for the advance of God's kingdom, such as the spread of the gospel in the world, revival in our churches and communities, and for God to be glorified among the nations.
-
to adore, thank, and commune with the living God.
-
to show patience and consideration towards one another as we pray and learn together, recognizing the diversity of our backgrounds and personalities.
Please consider joining us on a Thursday night. We would love to pray with you.
Women's Prayer: Wednesdays from 9:30 - 10:30am
We also have a prayer gathering for women every Wednesday morning at 9:30am, immediately following the Women's Bible Study. Women are welcome to gather to ask for prayer and pray for one another.
Submitting Prayer Requests
If you have a prayer request, our church would be honored to pray to the Father on your behalf. There are a few different ways to submit prayer requests:

-
Use the form on this page to submit a request.
-
Click on the blue Next Steps icon at the bottom right of this page, and then click "Ask for Prayer." Follow the prompts and your request will be delivered to our prayer team.
-
You can call or email the church to submit prayer requests.
-
Write your prayer request on a prayer card, which is in every bulletin and also at the Welcome Center, and drop it in the Prayer Box at the Welcome Center.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)
